you don't know what's going to be lined up or not when you do double exposures. nobody does. that's why it's luck.
you can take good photos on either exposure, doesn't mean it will go together well, and sometimes it doesn't....
= luck.
it's like the definition of luck.

Sure is my friend!

Taken in Brighton on a camera I bought in a charity shop for a tenner.

I like this photo Tristan. I see something in it that I have struggled with in my own photos. I find that sometimes I would like to have cropped to a square format in order to balance the image and bring attention to the "business" end. I was wondering if you had considered this on the right side of this photo? One way or another, I find it interesting.

Firstly, thanks for this very personal comment mate, I appreciate it.

Secondly, I have been thinking about square format photography recently, so it is funny you should mention it. I considered buying a Lubitel 166 recently, but I want to learn how to take good pics with the cams I already have first, before learning to shoot in another format. Plus 120 is more expensive 35mm.

I think restrictions such as the inherently looser composition of rectangular format photography can be creatively interesting. After all, the more restricted you are, the more creative you are forced to be. I think so, anyway.

I will shoot square at some point, though.

Glad you find it interesting buddy!
