This is a very emotional post at the time which I’m posting it. Last night’s Monday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals was suspended halfway through the first quarter when Bills Safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after tackling Bengals Wide Receiver Tee Higgins. Paramedics and medical staff from both teams started treatment on Hamlin immediately and he was carried off the field in an ambulance to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. It was reported that Hamlin went into cardiac arrest and is currently in critical condition. The Bills-Bengals game has been suspended and postponed to a later date, according to the NFL. Me and my friend saw the accident unfold before us as we were watching the game, and we were shocked and saddened by it. (We have an AU where me and the girls live together and watch NFL and WWE, so that’s why they’re here.) Me and my friend SuperheroCat are continuing to pray and monitor Hamlin’s diagnosis as we speak. But it does not look good. 😢 As a Cincinnati Bengals fan, my prayers and condolences go out to Damar Hamlin, his family, the Buffalo Bills, and the NFL as they’re going through this difficult time.
