Description
This is only my second Terra, drawn in my style of course.

This was such a hassle to color, since the original drawing was far bigger than my scanner.
I had to scan it more than four times just to get the thing right.

The scene goes like this...

I was out here again, just a few kilometers away from town. It was always quiet here, peaceful and calm, away from the hassle of living in the city. I guess that's why I liked this place so much.

The sky here was always so beautiful after sunset. You could see stars slowly sparkling into view with each passing second.

An infinite sky, with infinite stars.
Yet, among those millions of unending sparkles,
there is one star which only I own.

The one star, which belongs to me alone, the star that holds my hopes and my dreams.
And though times may change, and I grow old,
this sky will be here forever.

And my star, well, that will be here long after that.

With that one thing, that one hope that never changes,
under that one infinite sky, I can live on.

'Hey Terra! You there?'

My communicator.
They're looking for me now, after I tried so hard to pretend that the Terra they knew never existed, it was I in the end, who had gone to them. Returned to them.

I came home.

'Terra do you read me? Please answer?!
You didn't pull another Houdini on us did you?!'

No, I won't be doing that again.

"Yeah, I'm here. Sorry to worry you,
I just needed some fresh air."

"Nah, it's okay, just hearing your voice is good enough for me."

It was right then, the very moment he said those words.
He made me smile again.
Maybe somethings aren't meant to change.

"Hey are you at the living room window right now?"

'Hey! How'd you guess?!
You're not actually just in the other room are you?!'

Another smile.

"No, no, of course not. Haha! Silly boy! I was just going to ask you to look up."

'Huh? Look up...'
'Whoa, I've never seen the sky so clear!'

His voice, despite his age, he still sounds like a kid.
One of the many things I really like about him.

"Before I come back, let me tell you about that sky."
"That infinite sky, and my hopes, and my dreams."
