Hi! this is a mattepainting/concept of a destroyed city with a wall enclosing the center of it - rich, powerful stronghold, the beacon of civilization.i made it in about 8 hours, used 20+ reference photos & textures and a lot of digipainting.

Looks like the area around chernobyl today. You can really see that there is some kind of pollution, perhaps radioactive, because of the gloomy and dark atmosphere of it. Perhaps also corruption or tyrannism is the main factor of the government that governates that city.
