NAME: Snowstorm
AGE: About 2,500 years
OCCUPATION: Elder
GENDER: Male
TYPE: Ice Dragon

BACKSTORY
Snowstorm's life has most certainly not been an easy one. He was captured by humans a long time ago, and those humans were incredibly cruel to him. They had been known to pick his scales off and sell them for profit, whip him like a horse if he didn't obey their commands. He was treated like a slave, or a monster. (And yes, sometimes he was called a monster to his face).

People came from far and wide just to laugh at and/or torture him, so for this reason he developed a very strong hatred for humans. One night he froze the lock to his cell and broke it with one solid strike of his claws. He vowed that he would leave and take as many creatures as he could with him. He had seen many other mythological creatures being similarly tortured by humans just because they were different rather than respected for all they can do or what they stand for. For example unicorns would have their horns manes and tails pulled on constantly. Bad boys intentionally trying to cut them to collect their blood thinking that it might contain some magical properties that would allow them to do just about anything they wanted. Phoenixes often had freezing cold water dumped on them so that they could not burn themselves when it was time to for them to do so, and as such a few of them did in fact die and did not resurrect. Bottom line they were treated EXTREMELY poorly and even though Snowstorm was an ice dragon, this treatment made his blood boil.

In the dead of night he freed as many of them as he could and made a break for it. He told the creatures that he would not let them suffer anymore at the hands of humans, but he would not destroy them, but under no circumstances was any other creature EVER to leave their new home which was to be surrounded by a magical barrier that would keep the humans out.

Over time though he started to grow more arrogant and mean-spirited to the point where if anyone even so much as THOUGHT about leaving he would go to extreme lengths to keep them on the island, even if it meant breaking limbs to do it, or in some cases eating the offender. If a human DID make it though the barrier, he would not let him/her stay for long.

He rules the island alongside two other guardians named Coelcanth and Stormrider. (Both characters were created by me previously)

STRENGTHS
Incredibly strong and powerful. His age makes him not one to be messed with, and he has got a VERY explosive temper that could very easily freeze anything within a ten-foot radius solid.

WEAKNESS
Pride. Due to the events he went through, he is unwilling to let anyone defy him and he will go to great lengths to keep that from happening. While he is willing to negotiate, he is still unwilling to trust any humans claiming that they are all full of cruelty and lies and deceit etc, and they must not be trusted. Give them an inch and they take a mile in other words. So because of that he is almost never willing to even give an inch.
