Reading Vol. 5 of Witchblade I got the urge to seek out some Sara Pezzini images to plaster all over my desktop and use as cellphone wallpaper.Remembered did the inks on a Sara Pezzini piece. Check out his gallery, you will not be let down!
I did 3 versions of this, tried using gradients to color (need way more practice at that), a grayscale version and this posted version. Pretty happy this time around, eventually a coloring style will click for me and stand out from everyone else

The background was a no brainer in the end as Sara is a NYPD Detective, just fits well with the composition and characters background.
