This picture features a collection of original versions of Disney princesses from fairytales they never utilized (but should!)Starting from the brown/green princess (Princess September)
Princess September from "Twelve Dancing Princesses"
Princess Varuna from "The Goose Girl"
Princess Nyasha from "Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters"
Princess Helena from A "Midsummer's Night Dream"
Princess Hermia from A "Midsummer's Night Dream" (okay, so not really princesses in the original but I am sure they would be in a Disney version!)
Princess Kayuga from "The Bamboo Cutter's Tale" (there is a Studio Ghibli version, but this is how I imagine a Disney version of the character.)
Princess Jorinda from "Jorinde and Joringel"
Princess Elena from "The Firebird"
Princess January from "Twelve Dancing Princess" (and more of the twelve are in sketch form in the background! I plan to post finished pictures of all of the princesses!
