Description
Shortly after the reunion of Germany many East-German cities started buying used trams from West-German cites in order to replace their outdated trams. Gotha bought a couple of Düwag 6-axle trams, which were in service in Mannheim before they were no longer needed there.

Now, the replacements are to be replaced themselves by CKD Tatra KT4D from Erfurt.

No. 442 will probably be gone for good soon.

Update: Not so fast! No 442 is still in service and probabply will be until 2015 as the last remaining GT6-unit.
