You'd think the creepy red eyes would be a giveaway for her secret identity... but then I realized she's wearing glasses, so its ok!

Well, maybe a little creepy.
She lives in a city with a...sizeable population that doesn't match up with standard skin/eye tones. Glowy red eyes may be a little rare, but she's not unique.
Heck, her boss has green skin and a tale and nobody looks at him twice...
