Another Anastasia cosplay!As well this is the first shot from a slew of photos from Sakura Con! Despite the stress of work and finishing cosplays I have to say this was the best con yet!
I wore the boat dress to registration because it is extremely comfy, I was shocked by how many people recognized both (who was Dimitri) and I.

This is gorgeous! And you look just like Anya! I have a question though: how did you make this dress? Did you use a pattern or something? I'm trying to make this dress but everything I'm finding doesn't seem to have enough flowiness in the skirt

Thank you so much! Trust me its a lot of smoke and mirrors C; I did use a pattern... but it originally had princess seams though it had the flowiness of the skirt I desired. So I pieced together the pattern and made it with out the seams, I tend to do things in a very backwards fashion so a simple dress took me ...forever.
The pattern I used ... well its in the mess of my cosplay trunk so I will get the pattern number to you in a day or two <3

What type of fabric did you use to make the dress? I like how it looks and wanted to make one myself sometime.

To be honest, I have no clue. I found the fabric in the basement/clearance section of my local fabric store. I am assuming its a cotton-poly stretch suiting material. Though unfortunately thats all the information I can give you, since the store is known for mislabelling/being unorganized. If I find it again while rummaging through the store and there is proper labelling I will send you a note <3

awesome cosplay, at frist it hoguth ti was a disney rpincess cosplay, but nice costume.
