I recently got a sewing machine from my mom, and I’m trying to gather all the basics I need to get started on sewing. I didn’t have a pincushion so I bought the materials to make one.

I used a Canon T1i to photograph my pincushion, and edited in Photoshop CS5.

I’m planning on making more in other variations of pink and red. =3

I've been pinning my needles either on the couch or on my clothes and I've had..quite some experiences XD
I have a crochet pattern of a strawberry somewhere so I might try that :0

Yeah, pins in the crotch or something doesn’t sound fun at all lol. I wish I could crochet better! I haven’t tried since I was a little kid.

(Who really needs that pillow on the couch anyways? Think of all the needles it will hold!)

It is pretty sturdy, was tossing it around with my husband yesterday lol. It needs to be able to stand up to my toddler sons too.
