Ah, welcome back. You're here to pick up your pet, yes? It was Buttercup, the Persian kitten, wasn't it? She came out of surgery an hour ago. She's just sleeping off the last of her sedation, but should be ready to go back in her kitty crate and sent home with you shortly.
I'd like to say Buttercup has been well behaved but she's been whining to be let out of her cage all day.
Oh, there's just one small detail we noticed when it came to operating on her. You said the cat you handed to our veterinarian was an 8-month-old, female, Persian kitten, yes? On closer inspection, she actually appeared to be a 27-year-old, short-hair, human male.
Haha, don't worry about it. It's easy to get the breeds mixed up. We get them all the time!
Here comes Buttercup now, all fixed up as you requested. Isn't she pretty? We fixed those ugly defects to her ears and tail, and microchipped her for free.
