Description Silent stoney graveyard
                      Night
             Narrow darkened path              Overshadowed by
Natural arches trees hide the way
                                          Leaves breeze in the sky



Trail leads to a light
            An eerie blaze                          Bright
Voluptuous fallen moonlight
                                           Attraction
                Fantasy soft peaceful glow
Promising a new life                                         Surreal



I stride                                           Past the shadows
                I want to see
                I want to know
                I want to bathe myself amid this gorgeous flow



A fairy kingdom        Forgotten realm        Tiny merry creatures
                Fanciful paradise
                                               I almost run
                               Burst in delight
I hear them whisper                                        “Leave all behind"
                         Their kingdom could be mine also
                                                                                          I think I fly



I finally get there
                  The trees open
                Nothing                                     Bar a lamppost
Casting the shine I was so joyful dreaming on
           A crude white light



Reality has struck with might
Deception                      Delusion
                      Bitterness
And some kind of sour enlightenment
Too close to light       Slays your dreams        Turns you blind.

i'm glad you like it. that actually happened, on thursday night. don't ask me what i was doing in that graveyard though in fact a friend of mine wanted us to down a few beers there, he was in gothic mood...

i love fairies. so pretty.
nice. very descriptive.
i dont get the "Leaves bruise in the sky" part though.... bruise? as in hurt? or is it meant to be breeze?
anyway. nice.
