Story

Mephisto was born - or as he says "Created" on Nova7, a very advanced planet wich lost it's sun like 300 years ago.
Their inhabitant had to learn how to life without sunlight or face their extinction. All their resources went into finding a solution to this problem.
Nova7 - that until to this day was named 'Moradia', got help from a highly intelligent Species named Sply. They brought technology with them that surpassed the use of magic, which was the only force they had used by then.
Thanks to the help Moradia was saved and the Species asked only for one thing in return. That the planet should be added to their collective and become part of their civilization.
First thing they did was renaming the planet Nova7 and add new rules to their way of life.

Some of the former inhabitant of Moradia revolted against this 'takeover' and even thought, that their saviors had something to do with the expiration of their sun.
So Nova7/Moradia splittet in two. One side living under the government of the Sply and the other finding their way through old rituals and magic like in the old days.
Mephisto was born on the side of Nova7 and at the beginning though that everything here was perfect and well coordinated. But soon he had to face what happened to people who ask to many questions.
He had never meet his parents and didn't know where he exactly came from, but he was told that dark blood was flowing through his veins and that seemed to be nothing good.

Sortation was something no one talked about, but if you didn't fit into the society of the Splys you either were 'fixed' or 'sorted out'.
Mephisto was one of the second option so he was forced to be shipped away to a planet no one ever returned from.
But before that could happen the harbor was attacked by the other side and everyone in the ship was taken away with them.

That was when Mephisto meet this Master "Moradin" for the first time.
He told them that they were free now and had the right to decide their own life. Mephisto was taken in by his words and speech that he stayed and asked to be taught the old ways of magic.
Moradin became a father figure for Mephisto and he would do everything he could to please - and be worthy to him.
Mephisto became one of his best students and even was taught secret dark magic that had been forbidden to use long ago.
Together with his new family he fights against the government of the Splys to one day free their planet from them again.
