"Crescendo knew all along what your destiny was... he knew the Element of Bravery would bear the blue star gem.. Twilight had written about it in a journal, and Crescendo stumbled across the entry while he was doing a little paperwork to settle a disagreement within the town. He had always hoped the element was meant for him, but once you came into the picture, Nova, he realized it would not be his destiny to be the Element of Bravery, but yours. He watched as they placed the Element gem over your neck, without even a word to him otherwise, not even given a chance, because Twilight knew it was for you. She had waited her entire life, to give the necklace to you Nova, even after Crescendo had already been around. It made him feel less important, now that his beloved little sister was destined to bring hope and light to the world of Equestria again. All eyes were on you, all ponies smiled and gave you gifts and loved you. It only made sense that Crescendo began feeling the way he did, being in the constant shadow of his baby sister. He became forgotten, and eventually stopped trying to gain the admiration of the townsponies. And although he wanted to hate you, he still came to love you. You are his sister, after all, still family... but he truly wanted to hate you, to wish you were never born! But what did he do? He smiled, he played the big brother, he protected you.. knowing you were the important one in this family. All the while it was ripping him apart from the inside. He was miserable, yet he protected you!"

Nova's eyes were shedding tears but she never broke focus and kept the hexagon of magic tight, keeping their hold on the TenebrisThe dialog above is an excerpt from We Meet Again by iPandacakes

I was reading through it again while listening to Two Steps From Hell music and got inspired to doll how I pictured Nova while Tenebris was talking as she and her friends contained him. It hurt her greatly to hear how much her brother was suffering but she refused to let go of the magic from her element
