I don't normally do paintings but this one turned out great. Painting is done in acrylics on canvas with glossy lacquer over eyes and teeth to give it the appearance that its wet/alive. I have it in my living room at the time and its beautifulRelated content

I really like this! The detail in the teeth and eyes are vivid and eye catching, all with the lovely melancholy blend of colors. All the brush strokes seem very intricate and it's aesthetically pleasing for someone like me. However, it does seem a bit complex as a whole, as though it could be toned down a bit around the edges just so the center focus is on the smile. Though I really don't see much trouble as it is. I don't see this as extraordinarily original, but I do think it is a well executed take on the concept. Over all a very good piece. The effort you put into it really shows.
