Slapped on the wrist? Really? I thought inking was all about adding line weight variation!

There are some really great lines here. I lover her hair in the top panel, and the scar work is fun.
Critiques are def minor; the top panels character has alot of line weight that could back off, notably her collarbone area, and where her breast meets her left armpit. Her right shoulder's line weight and left side's flowing hair are quite heavy, which puts the lighting at odds with itself. I'd like it to be 1 or the other. Your thick to thin on organic stuff is pretty solid, I'd like to see that with the tubes, wires, tech stuff as well. If you backed off the figure's line weight, and did more thick to thin in the tech areas, you could achieve some really fun depth between foreground and background. Right now the top panel's depth is going to be dependent on the colorist, and I think you've got the skill to not be "that guy"
This is-IMO- on par with alot of the pro stuff out there (especially with a strong colorist), but I think you've got the potential to be better than the joe-schmoe inkers. Keep working, and study the greats. You're finding your voice, you're learning the tools, and enjoying what you do-don't stop any of that
dig it

Hey Spidey!
Thanks so much for the critique!
I agree with the hair, i know that bit got a little thick. I was scared it was going to blend into the background, or the table a bit too much, so i decided to make her REALLY pop from the background. and yeah, harvey has some interesting light sources it seems like. but as my job being the inker i see what your saying. i see what your saying, and ill make it my goal not too on my next portfolio haha.
Thanks so much man! that means a ton! i am hoping my next portfolio is going to be even more impressive! and i always have fun
Thanks again!

excellent work. Her neck looks a little overdone though. That part of her looks like she's about 80 years old. But the technique is outstanding.

Haha; yeah i agree. I felt like taking out the original pencils would be sacrilege though. I did try my best to lighten those up from the original pencils. Thanks man!

These pages are awesome, Travin! Simply awesome!!
My one word of critique would possibility be the pencil work in some of the areas is a bit too visible. Perhaps work on clean up a little bit, getting rid of the pencil ghosts. Other than that these are so great! Really outstanding work! You'll be working for one of the big comic companies in no time!
