This is my favorite overall art piece for your Mysthea collection.  The depth and colors are amazing!  I've been backing the Tabula Games Mysthea series since the beginning and am currently backing Icaion.  Your art in all of the games is mind blowing!  I can't wait to see all the art you've done for Icaion and hope to see it in a collection here soon!

ok i know what the trees and plants are living beings but... think a moment how oue apretiation about them could be if we could see them moving at our rate of speed? could be creepy...

How to imitate the sort of random, organic growth of trees, or cracks in the ground, rock formations and stuff, but not make it look too thought out or repeated?

Travis-Anderson In reply to SkyroreDraws [2018-04-06 03:42:58 +0000 UTC]

This probably sounds really new agey but nature is very much not random. Trees mimic the veins on a leaf for how they branch out as well as have their own spacing and repetition, rocks have a flow and layering to them stress at certain parts of rocks like edges or long flat thin parts, rivers flow with a certain twist that changes depending on the landscape. Looking and studying our world around us helps glean new information on what we think is just random. Its my own worldview that all aspects that we think is random will be explained someday as predictable.

That's not newage, that's very smart actually. I'll look into that and study nature's patterns more, thank you for the feedback!
