This piece was done for Talon Dunning, a longtime e-friend and art collaborator over the years. This was his free sketch for purchasing my 2015 TRDL Tribute Art book (still have some copies!)- he's a collector of, among other things, Phoenix art, so my concept here was a What If? scenario where the Phoenix Force found Jean Grey in the 60s, when she was starting out as Marvel Girl. I'll be taking this full color eventually...
