Approximately how long do they stay in the graveyard before they are cut up for scrap?

It really depends. Some acft are kept in the boneyards for quite some time as they are used for parts to sustain acft still in use. Others get disposed of in acft sales (transports) as there is a civilian market for them.

guessing it depends on the airplane; they keep some longer than others. I'm sure these are long gone.
