Don't be fooled by that innocent face, this little birdy is out to get your money. Skye is a hustler, and every new face is another sucker made of money. They were a girl scout, and number 1 wasn't just a title. Acorn cookie sales hit its PEAK when they were just a wee little chick, and it's all thanks to them. There's a one-of-kind badge, and a certificate at home to prove it. Skye's head is always winding, twisting, turning - their foot tapping rapidly as the cogs of their brain is always turning ideas into money-making schemes. But of course, all of this is under the hood, they know better to treat a person well because everyone is a potential customer.

When they're not trying to sell you something (which they almost always will be), they show an extremely caring side, mainly to close friends and family. It can be observed when Skye is with Haein, they've got an eagle-eye when it comes to their step sibling's needs, especially because Haein is such an airhead.

Backstory:

When their mother remarried after the passing of their father, Skye was very happy, after all, they were getting another mom, who was very pretty and kind! What they didn't like was the baggage that came along. For the first ten years of their new family life together, Skye struggled to accept Haein into their life. Perhaps it was due to their competitive nature, and having grown up as an only child - they just weren't willing to share. Feeling threatened of having to share their mother's attention, they often bullied Haein and attempted to push them away... resulting in undesirable consequences (they often got scolded which never happened much before, fueling the cycle of hostility towards their new sibling).

However, after years of perseverance (ten years to be exact), Haein's affections towards Skye finally made them realise that it was not the attention of their mothers that Haein wanted, but theirs. Upon this realisation, (and a very unfortunate incident in which their harsh words went too far, a missing Haein, the legend of the forest Chupa*, but a subsequent happy ending) they slowly warmed up to the other and since have become as close as ever.

Being the bird that Skye was, a regular office desk job just wasn't enough for them. You have to be your own boss if you want to succeed in life!! Persevering for years and climbing up the social ladder isn't their style though. They want to be their own boss, with their own rules and make all the money so their family can live even more comfortably and luxuriously. The only way they knew to achieve this was to cut their losses and travel to gain important life experiences that will inspire them to come up with their business plan or something-- GO BIG OR GO HOME AMIRITE?!

Although their plan isn't exactly thought through step by step, they had the big picture in their head. Encouraging their sibling to come along, they decided to leave the nest and explore the world, all the while as Skye attempts to sell some poor sod another one of their ever imaginative products. But that's not all! On the side, Skye makes use of their magical abilities (with a lot of help from their creativity and networking skills) to make some money off fortune telling, which currently finances the majority of their expenses (along with Haein's courier job). They follow Haein's delivery packages to guide them towards the next town or city, which inevitably leads them to Almaria, the capital city of the world.

Skye channels their magic through their own hand-drawn deck of cards. Their powers can only work with their own cards and not through any other deck. The cards can be redrawn if their cards are lost or damaged.

Divination
The ability to gain insight into a target's past. Skye is able to have a limited vision into a person's immediate or very far history through their own deck of hand-drawn 'tarot' cards.
