God it's been forever since I've done a pic of Treetail! Thank God it is Summer so I can work on my artsies! (and possibly find a job ._. )Anyways since this was a quick drawing, I didn't really work hard on it, so I'm not asking for critiques. Of course, feel free to post one anyways! I always love learning about how to improve my art.

Dude, this is such a cool pic...how do you do this???? You see my fails...all pencil drawings in my gallery save ONE that I barely got done...and I still dislike that... you say you didn't work too hard on it, but it's still beast

and I can barely draw animals worth a crap. I mean, have you seen my 12 of 13 pics??? I could barely draw Heina's animal forms to save my life, so I didn't after his profile page. He'd be much better drawn in your art...

It helps alot if you study the skeletal/muscle structure of the animal you want to draw. I mostly studied my cat and my dog either sitting or standing (mostly my cat XD) and now I have two crazy ferrets to participate as my muses. I love Heina's second form (guardian). Some pointers I can give on the first form is wolf muzzles are typically longer and their shoulders and rump should be level with very subtle upside down arc for the spine. I found a reference photo that should help, even if it is just a pup: [link]

Also, when I actually attempted the first form with the muzzle longer than it is I had a lot of people asking if it was a little goat O_o So I made it shorter and pplz got the idea

And I'm trying to make it so that there's only one of each animal. Thinkin about trying my hand at a horse again, but they're really hard and I only drew on once, so yeah. I can't think of 13 good animals to use tho. other than the horse idea and maybe a croc or shark, maybe a snake, there's nothin. i've got, what, 7?? I need more than that....btw cat and big cats remain one category and dogs and wolves are the same, cuz ppl don't know the difference or won't know the difference if I try to draw both...

Horses are hard >.< Mainly their heads are a problem for me.
Weird, I just sketched a page of a bunch of animals last night. I'll tell you what animals I drew (minus felines/canines) and you can pick what you like:
~ Lamb
~ Snake
~ Heron
~ Ferret
~ Rabbit
~ Rat
~ Frog
~ Turtle (XD)
~ Koi Fish
~ Butterfly
There were 5 more, but they're feline/canine XD

i think the snake, turtle, ferret, koi, and rabbit are good ideas, but i'd rather a ram than a lamb...too girly and weak-sounding XD maybe the frog, too (kerokero!) XD the rat makes it seem closer to a zodiac-based story

haha no not all guys, alice the cat is female and if there were a horse or snake they'd be females as well.
note-i already have a bird and bat, so things with wings are out, too XD sorry
