Yeah, I draw monsters sometimes. Anywho, this fellow is a Greater Demon from Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2) and he is a big and poweful... well... lizard-looking demon. One of my personal favourite enemies, for sure.If it looks flat on detail, that's because my reference was about 35 x 35 pixels, so it was just a little bit hard to see what it looked like
Anywho, hope you like my 2-3 hour job, cos I sure do

Nice shading, but making the highlights on him darker would give him more weight
Compared to what you can do to him, this would look like a feather xDD

Darker highlights... hmm... It was so hard to try and reproduce the contrast I got on the original sketch, which is quite heavy in itself, and on this particular monitor it looks as close as it will probably get. Thanks though

Actually the light would be an eerie green/blue glow with some wisps of crimson

They are red anyway. Lesser Demons are green
