Description
Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!This is probably the most popular Goth type of the times. It's a gorgeous look, so that's unsuprising.

i'm romantic-vampire-feary with a decent amount geek/weeb...yeah a romantic goth that watches anime,plays mortal kombat and contributes a great deal to fan art...and fanfiction. most of my music revolves around Evanesscence,NightWish,Tristania etc...

While I am not an advocate to stereotypes, your goth stereotypes are very interesting. All sorts of peices of my style fall into a lot of catagories.

According to these, I fall into SEVERAL. I love TradGoth, Romantic Goth, Victorian Goth, J-Goth, The Medival Goth, The Vampire Goth, and Faerie Goth. My styles and makeup has bits and pieces of each. (Although on some days I may look more of one than the other due to what particular mood.) I think my makeup can be described as the J-goth...I'm very detailed and OCD about my face makeup. One day I'll be wearing this old Victorian-style black dress with various frilly accessories, the next I'll be wearing a tight black corset with ripped fishnets underneath the corset, black leggings, and various black belts wrapped around my legs. I love more than just the fashion as well...literature, art, philosophy, Architecture, HISTORY...the list goes on.

Mostly of this is described as my type of "goth stereo-type" even though I love to listen to several goth-bands as siouxsie and the banshees, bauhaus, sisters of mercy, the cure, nosferatu & london after midnight but also I adore gothic, pagan, and symphonic metal mostly and some neoclassic. I love cathedrals, gothic litterature and graveyards and love art and skulls so mostly I can be a mix between tradigoth, romantic goth and metalhead haha xD or as i call my own gothstyle Ow<

You should just make an entire series of rebellious styles. You have Rave, industrial, all the punks styles, (please do emo on it's own it's not goth!), all the different rocks, you know all the styles i am. I'm a proud adaptive goth/multi-goth (a goth who is multiple and or all styles) and i find this series interesting. please do more

I must say, I adore all your 'Gothic Steryotype' pieces.
Almost all of them made me laugh a bit, but only because they're so accurate! Seriously, I saw more than a bit of myself in the 'Steampunk', 'Victorian', 'Hippy', and 'Medieval' Goth types; not to mention this one here.
The art is simple, but gorgeous-- you convey the styles very well-- and overall I cannot think I'd find a more honest and understandable guide to 'educate' the people who just don't understand what 'Gothic' is.
