Rhinosaurus is a perfect 50/50 hybrid between a white rhino and a rhino iguana. The animal was discovered being used on a private island too fight other captured or created monsters in a ring. In 1999 this activity was discovered by the New York Section of the MIP after a series of events lead to the capture of Zilla.Jr by animal trafficers too fight in the ring. After Zilla.Jr was located and the island raided by the agency, they found 6 monsters, one of which was Rhinosaurus.

Rhinosaurus was tranquilized and taken too the holding facility for examination. No origin has yet been fully determined for Rhinosaurus but just that it is half rhino and half iguana. Rhinosaurus's tail has been worn by the concrete of its engagement, turning it into a stub. Rhinosaurus is male and thus unable to lay eggs or give live birth.

After rehabilitation and containment in a large planted paddock rhinosaurus was released onto the plains of Monster Island where it took easily too a diet of grasses and shrubs. Rhinosaurus hide is very tough, unable to be punctured by bullet or claw of even the largest of the dinosaurs. As of 2021 rhinosaurus can still be found roaming in a territory of 30 miles or so. A lone bull rhinosaurus has shown only to be defensive to predators only larger than itself, otherwise will let animals graze or tread freely without being bothered.

In 2017 rhinosaurus was met by a lone indominus rex which attempted to attack rhinosaurus but was unable to slice into its hide, rhinosaurus used its large horn and gored the i.rex before rolling onto its side, effectively squashing the i.rex. since this point no predators have tried attacking rhinosaurus.
