So here's the story, if you'd care for some fantasy rambling:

The Dwarf Stronghold Dau Ikzlundr* sits high in the Auzlrund** mountains, prosperous and overflowing with natural resources. Dau Ikzlundr's inhabitants are, like most dwarves, a reclusive, territorial folk who typically don't concern themselves with the affairs of other kingdoms and cultures, except to trade their masterfully refined ores, gems and legendary smith work. With the launch of the New Front Offensive by the Garharen kingdom's generals, King Haldoz of Dau Ikzlundr has sent word to Lord Ivor VI, of the Ivor Kingdom, calling for the aid of his soldiers. With the Northern Ivor front already stretched thin, the young lord dispatches his Palace Guard, a force of about three hundred men, to bolster the defences of the dwarf stronghold. Now Lord Ivor's soldiers stand Guard as Haldoz's warriors and engineers prepare for the Garharen Onslaught.
