Description
From left to right
Row 1
Slingshot: An early ranged weapon when you don’t have access to string for a bow. Depending on the ammo, the Slingshot will by default do half the base damage as the Vanilla Bow and has a shorter range.
Smooth Rock: The first ammo type for the Slingshot. They do half the base damage as the Vanilla Bow.
Gold Ball and Silver Ball: Only really effective against monsters that have weaknesses to these metals, but still do less damage than other weapons that used those metals as ammo.
Blood Popper: These don’t do any damage and are instead used to distract monsters with a strong sense of smell or that drink blood. Blood Poppers are one of the few reasons to keep using the Slingshot even when you have better weapons.
Mini Bomb: A small bomb that creates a very small and weak explosion that can only break weak blocks like dirt, sand, some wood types, etc.
Blowgun: An even cheaper alternative when you can’t make a bow yet and just happen to be near a jungle.
Blow Dart: These do 1/3 the damage of a Vanilla Bow, but can be loaded much faster than any arrow and can also deliver potion affects.
Row 2
Vanilla Bow:
Longbow:
Recurve Bow:
Decurve Bow:
Reflex Bow:
Deflex Bow:
Khryselakatos (Artemis’s Bow): [COMING SOON]
Row 3
Vanilla Crossbow:
Repeater Crossbow: Shoots faster than the Vanilla Crossbow, but does half the damage and has half as much durability.
Dual-Shot Crossbow: Allows you to fire off two shots that do the same damage as a Vanilla Crossbow, but has double the reload time.
Arbalest Crossbow (or Wheel Crossbow): Does the same damage as the Vanilla Crossbow, but cuts the reload time in half.
Auto Crossbow: Does the same damage as the Vanilla Crossbow, and is loaded with a magazine which makes the reload time much shorter.
Crossbow Pistol: Does 1/3 the damage of the Vanilla Crossbow, but can be loaded much faster.
Auto Crossbow Pistol: Same as the other crossbow pistol, but shoots faster and is loaded with a magazine which makes the reload time even shorter.
