Description Small plant growing amongst red moss.

Shot is a combination of frames all stitched together* using a Tamron 90mm coupled** to a Sony 35mm. Vignetting caused by not matching apertures between the 90mm and 35mm.

*'Stitching images together is one method of increasing your depth of field, something that is very limited in macro shooting. Each image is shot with the same 'in camera settings' just with different points of focus, say perhaps one image focuses on the eyes and another the wings. Stitching them together on Photoshop is as simple as removing the unfocused parts from each layer and aligning them as necessary.'

**'Connect a wide angle prime lens backwards onto the filter threads of a standard 1:1 macro lens with a male to male adapter. With this style of set up i was able to effectively increase the magnification to nearly 4:1.'
