Description This image was made using 3d studio max for the windmills and every thing else was done using Bryce. They are windmills read the science for explanation.

Danger Science Warning (don’t bother reading if you don’t want to know)

Ok for every one wondering the how the work as wind mills its a very simple idea basically you have two aerofoils each facing in opposite directions attached to a central shaft. Now instead of what normally happens with an aerofoil; which is an engine push the craft in to the air creating a difference of air pressure above and below the wing causing an upward force; what you get is reveres of the principle, which is a difference of pressure (in form of wind) creating a forward motion in each aerofoil, causing every thing to spin. Once started they take very little energy to keep going. So why aren’t these used? errr… well the thing is that the concrete and steal ones tested in the 50’s eventually shook them selves apart. Shame really as the look great
