Uh Oh, someone's in trouble nooowwww.Aw man, I have such a ... THING with this page. This is the only page that made me wish I was doing this comic in any language other than English because the sound effect for a rooster's crow (which is the noise Peter makes) looks stupid LITERALLY ONLY IN ENGLISH. Pretty much any other language (other than Gaelic) uses a phonetic spelling that doesn't look totally silly. I decided to go with what was recognizable, especially since Hook refers to Peter as "The Doodle-Doo" later on, so I'm kinda stuck with it.
But that doesn't stop me from going ERRRGGGG everytime I see this page >_<

Would you recommend it to beginners?

Well, not Max Ver 2 since that's in Japanese, but the first one is in English. It is a good program, but not sure how beginner friendly it is. I liked it because I'd used open canvas, and they are similarly set up. There's another program called "Manga Labo" which you can try out with a trial, see how that is.

Ah comicworks is only for PC. I hear people like Manga studio. I'm not a fan, personally, b/c it's a lot like photoshop and I really don't like photoshop.

Must agree, "Coka doodle doo" sounds horribly stupid. Apart from that, the faces in this page are all awesome, enough to cancel the sillyiness of that phonetic effect.

I love cockadoodledoo because it has doodle in it! That word was enough to make me laugh for hours as a kid. It doesn't look much sillier than cocorico, does it?
Now this page makes me think of evil chickens. They're scarier than ominous ravens, in a way.

Leave it to the English speaking community to agree with you - even the French are cool when it comes to kittens - 'mieu', 'mieu' and so forth.
Personally, I'd go with the phoenetic spelling.

It's all relative! As a frenchie I think that the "miaou, miaou" sounds and looks ridiculous (I don't know where "mieu" comes from) and I much prefer the English mew. So much... kittier. More graceful, y'know? XD
Then again, no human sound can come close to cats' and other animals' amazing extensive vocabulary.

The story kinda traps me into using the English sound effect, and anything that's not another language entirely sounds even worse >_< I wish I was writing this in Japanese, it'd be sooo much easier... ONLY at this point, lol, the rest would be hard, eheh.

Oh my God, WOW! The fear in their faces in that last giant panel was AMAZING! It makes sense that you put in "cock a doodle doo" (I remember Hook called Peter 'doodle doo' as well and found it very proper

Well, to be fair, it's mostly that they're scared for Tootles since, given what he's done, Peter is probably going to kill him.
