Yeah, I was dreading the mint (I don't like mint) but the only flavor that actually makes me nauseous.... fake banana flavor >_< Thankfully, they had raspberry, which was great! You know, until my mouth went numb. But apparently, banana is the flavor they use here. Very odd.Enjoy!

You know? I actually like fake banana flavouring quite a lot. ^^ I used to have a banana flavoured toothpaste some years ago. I was really sad when it ran out and I went to buy more and they had none. u.u My next favourite is the classic colgate evergreen mint flavour, then the colgate kids bubblegum one, specially if it's the tube that comes out star shaped and has little sparkles in the gel. *-* Sorry, I like fun and quirky things like that.

O, strong mint!! x.x Now I understand. x.x I can only tolerate the classic colagete mint flavour, otherwise my mouth feels like it's on fire. ;_; My fiance made me use mouthwash for one minute and it was pure torture. ;_; I know he did it for my own good, but it made me feel on fire and then I coughed for like another minute. u.u

Ha ha that's weird I can see why banana would be prpular though, but i would prefer mint though although my dentist has this bubble gum flavor, but raspberry and strawberry sound good alternatives XD

Banana is the standard in Finland too, and I hate it! Apparently they now have strawberry for kids, but they didn't when I was that age. It's because of the dentists that I can't stand anything with fake banana flavour.

I always ask for raspberry or whatever berry flavor there is. Although I like mint but I think berry does the best at hiding nasty stuff.
Banana just seems so random. I wonder what the normal toothpaste flavor is....I'm also wondering what other flavoring different nations use. XD Because I'm sure mint isn't typical in many places.

not fluoride, banana flavored topical anesthetic. They don't actually use fluoride I think, or at least, they've never offered it to me ^_^;;

Interesting because in the states at the end of everything they put flouride on the teeth to strengthen enamel and prevent cavities. Although I think the U.S. is one of the most teeth obsessed nations there is. XD
Maybe they don't use flouride since a Japanese diet isn't loaded with sugar or maybe they already put flouride in the water supply. I know some places do that with water now.

Ahah, probably. Oh, they eat plenty of sugar out here, but I don't think they put anything in the water. I haven't really looked at the toothpaste, it probably has fluoride, but I use a different kind so I don't know.
