True, these types of locomotives don't ride like the those fitted with leading and/or trailing trucks, but these small locomotives were historically the back bone of short line railroading in north America and should be represented. Also, knowing the history of #31 being the genesis of Strasburg's modern steam program, a lot of the long time local railfans in this area feel it deserves a better disposition than it has now (along with SRR#4)...

Yep...it's nice to see the big main line horses, but to me these little locomotives are the embodiment of short line railroading!
