Description
character study of a german renaissance mercenary. These guys were pretty interesting, wearing flamboyant outfits and carrying around gigantic two-handed swords wherever they went. The legs look a bit wonky (the proportions are a bit off) but other than that I'm pretty pleased with it. It's a style I'm hoping to continue with that's inspired in part by the work of my late grandfather.Done with ink (nib pen) and watercolor.

Doppel soldner means double pay, they were paid twice because they were specialist that broken the enemy line with the thrust of they blades. Great piece indeed!
