Description
This is a piece I did based on my wife's OC Tranformer, Firedance. Specificaly, how she would appear in the G1 timeline.

Instead of a car, jet, or dragon as she normally appears, she takes on the alt mode of a archaeopteryx after being impressed by the strength and skill of the Dinobots.

Here color scheme and design aesthetic is based on the G1 Dinobots. This means that she trades the mostly red color of her robot mode, for a sleek silver in dino mode. To her back, I added a "vestigial cockpit" like most of the Dinobots have.

This piece was hand drawn, then inked, and the colored with marker and pencils (I don't have any gray scale markers yet) I tried out a new coloring technique for me, and I think it came off pretty good. I also made some touch ups in Photoshop to fix a few mistakes I made.
