Soon she did not need his words to know what was happening.The great, Abd al-Rahman had found himself a young woman to spend his time and wealth on. Dahlia was sickened and enraged, this had been going on for far longer than she could have imagined and right under her nose.

This was when she first had contact with a representative of the Genko family in Egypt. Together they planned the death of her beloved husband. They would kill him and cut out his lying tongue.

The price for such a thing was astronomical , but the fortune her husband would leave behind was substantial, and could more than cover their fee.

This, as many things, did not turn out as Dahlia had expected. While she did play the part of the grieving widow, she was passed of by police as harmless and comforted by family and friends, one thing was not as planned. Her Husband, in all his loving tenderness, had left Dahlia with nothing. Not a penny. As she sat at the estate meeting, a woman's name that was not her was spoken. His whore. His whore had been given everything...

When the bill collectors came, she had only a few thousand dollar to offer them, and she was taken to "pay back her debt somehow" Luckily for her, she was able to finagle an agreement to be a doctor for The family. All things considered her fate could have been much worse...
