Description

If you're over at a friend's house and accidentally make their carpet dirty, then you must pretend that it was like that when you first arrived!

Well, Alex Whitney invited her best friends Lisa Simpson, Janey Powell, Allison Taylor, Sherri Mackleberry, Terri Mackleberry over to her house for the afternoon. Recently, Alex's parents had their light grey carpets deep cleaned and told Alex to make sure they "don't get dirty when her friends were over".

Unfortunately, her friends picked up a lot of muck on the soles of their shoes on the way to Alex's house and when they walked into the lounge room, all that accumulated crud spoiled the freshly cleaned carpet. Now, Alex had to clean out the sizeable amount of dirt trapped inside the carpet before her parents got home and scold her for not keeping a promise.

But she didn't have the time to do it, so instead Alex came up with a clever idea to trick her parents into thinking that the carpet had been dirty when they left. Of course, any sane human would have easily noticed the difference, but it was worth a shot anyways.

Alex: "I don't have the time to clean this out, so let's convince them that it was dirty to begin with! Girls, take off your shoes..."

Alex was dead serious, she wanted everyone to remove their footwear so she could further back up her claim that the carpet was dirty to begin with. She pulled off her green platform shoes and then peeled off her long white socks to reveal her bare feet. "Ah, that's much better." She said relieved, wiggling her toes amongst the carpet.

This coaxed Allison to do the same thing, kicking off her black flats and feeling the carpet with her own toes. "Come on guys, this feels great!" Allison claimed, as the other girls slowly followed.

Janey looked down at her white shoes, deciding that she needed to get out of them. She lifted her left foot off the ground and yanked on the shoe until it popped off, and then repeated the process with her other shoe. Janey pulled down her long pink socks and lifted her feet out of them, joining in on the carpet feeling craze started by Alex. "Goodness me, this is the best feeling I've ever had!" Janey stated, giggling.

Both Sherri and Terri followed suit, slipping out of their purple sandals and removing their white socks. The twins' bare pale white feet had come out to play and they had a serious date with the carpet which needed to be catered for. "This is the softest carpet my feet have ever had the honor of setting foot on!" Sherri commented, moving her toes around the strands of the carpet.

"I agree with you, sister. Why doesn’t our house have carpets like these?" Terri exclaimed, as her toes brushed against the dirty carpet. “I have to admit, despite the amount of filth trapped inside it, it still feels just as soft as ever!” Alex commented, who was still tickling her bare feet on the carpet.

Lisa was now the only one in the group who was still wearing shoes, those being red plastic sandals and she wasn't too keen on Alex's plan despite the other girls getting in on her idea.

Lisa: “I’m not too sure if we should be doing this, guys. What if Alex's parents still manage to notice how the carpet has somehow gotten dirtier since they left us?"

Alex: "Don't worry Lisa, my parents don't have the best of memories."

Allison: "Come on Lisa, join us in our fun!"

Janey: "Yeah, you're joining in whether you like it or not!"

Sherri and Terri suddenly grabbed hold of Lisa's legs as Janey and Allison dropped onto their knees and crawled up to her feet. Lisa's left leg was forced up into the air by Sherri, which gave Allison the perfect opportunity to pull on her friend's plastic sandal and she removed it without trouble.

"Hey, don't do that!" Lisa demanded, as her left foot returned to the ground. Terri then raised Lisa's right leg in the same way her elder sister did earlier and made sure that Janey could her business without any sort of disruption.

Janey quickly began tugging on Lisa’s other plastic sandal, hastily trying to get her remaining shoe off. A few seconds later, Janey yanked it off her right foot and Terri released her grip from Lisa’s leg. After lowering her now naked foot onto the ground, she immediately wiggled her toes in the carpet and found it very satisfying.

Lisa: "Hehehe, this is actually quite relaxing."

Alex: "See, I told you this is good fun!"

Alex then took the opportunity to relocate the discarded shoes and socks to the front door in order to fool her parents into thinking that she and her friends had taken them off as soon as they entered the house. A few hours later, Alex's parents knocked on the door and their daughter came sprinting towards it. As Alex opened the door, her parents noticed a few things right away...

Mrs. Whitney: "Alex, why are you barefoot? And how come all your friends have dumped their shoes and socks over there?"

Alex: "Well, I wanted to make sure that I kept my promise to not get the carpets dirty. So I told all my friends to remove their shoes and socks so they wouldn't contaminate it with the crud built up on the soles of their footwear."

Alex then picked up one of Janey's shoes and showed off all the mud stuck to the soles of it. "Well, good thinking there Alex. If we saw any dirty carpets in this house, even with the tiniest speck of dirt, we would have come down hard on you." Mr. Whitney said, walking into the lounge room with his wife.

Alex then gulped and crossed her fingers hoping that her parents wouldn’t notice that the lounge room’s carpet had gotten dirtier since they left her.

Mr. Whitney: “ALEX! Come in here right now...”
Alex: “Oh god...”

The 8-year old entered the lounge room, and immediately saw the furious looks on her parents' faces. Alex's friends meanwhile were sitting on a wooden bench located inside the room, watching their friend deal with her angry parents.

Lisa: "See, I told you they would notice that the carpet had mysteriously gotten dirtier!"
Sherri: "Oh well, at least it was fun twitching our toes in this super soft carpet."

Janey: "Yeah, we had a great time here despite accidentally spoiling your lovely carpet."

Allison: "I would be glad to help clean up the mess we made, I mean it's not Alex's fault entirety."

Terri: "Me too, and I'm sure the rest of us wouldn't mind helping as well!"

Alex: "Oh, that's so sweet of you all to help me in this pickle of a situation..."

Alex's parents agreed to let their daughter go unpunished on the provision that all the girls had to clean out the dirt trapped inside the carpet they had messed up earlier. Afterward, the six girls decided to do something else, but all of them remained barefoot until it was time to go home.

You may be wondering why I haven't included Alex Whitney in the picture despite her being in the backstory just above, right? Well, I drew this picture prior to thinking of any ideas for a backstory, and I couldn't be bothered going back to add her into this. However, I may make another one of these pieces later on which as Alex along with the other girls seen here.

Alex: “Oh god...”
