That's the thing though... it takes a LOT of time. I've been playing for over 20 years, and while I know how good I am, I STILL can't play solos to save my soul from hell.

*sigh* Now there's something I really don't have... It's hard to balance school and two jobs... I'm sure it's even more difficult for those who are on there own and going to college and have more than a single job... but it's overwhelming to me at this point. I've only been working for a sinlge year as of five days ago, and I'm still not used to the job part let alone having two aand school. The times when I'm not at either of those i'm either sleeping or trying to enjoy myself. By that time I'm sick of learning anything and just want to relax.

Time is relavent. Even if it's only for 5 or 10 minutes a day, get some practice in. I have days where I can play for hours, and then some where I hit a few notes and have to stop. Before you know it though, you'll start "getting it".
