For people on US forums (28:th April -09) [link]This reskin has nothing to do with the Teldrassil Sproutling. My reskin has taken inspiration from that skin which has been in WoW since forever, any likeness is just a coincidence.
On a requested request by Phaelia on her blogsite [link] for Restoration Druids which I tend to read, I made a Nightelf Tree of Life with my customized reskin of Tree of Life.
Took about +2h or so to make this one.

I couldn't agree more. My druid has always had white hair and I desperately want the "white tree" skin from borean tundra. Blizzard argues that moonkin and tree are newer and don't need the overhaul as bad but personally I found the fact that they said they would redo swim form first insulting.

...myeaoaoaoh... I might use these myself for a web design, would be awesome to let the person change the look of my site to say Tree of Life Nightelf/Tauren theme, Moonkin Tauren/Nightelf and so on, and I might use that as a background if so.
But I guess you can use it, we'll see if I might "reclaim it" at a later point.

was browsing the web for a nice wallpaper to use and stumbled upon this. Tried google for tons of various combinations in order to find a nice wallpaper of a resto tree, but without luck

Love your reskins - I couldn't imagine going back to plain after using NE tree (we were so meant to be purple!). It's amazing how much certain aesthetics can spice up the entire game, and I'd like to thank you for taking the time to polish up that piece of what Blizz has apparently forgotten. Looks wonderful; though I noticed something that didn't look right ... the left tree guardian's arm/hand isn't blurred. It doesn't seem to be in perspective as it is sharp, like the main figure.
Just a thought -- otherwise, great work! It's inspired me to do a little of my own fan art.

Yea if only Blizzard would give the Night Elf druids a more purple texture for their Tree of Life, like some of the other ents around the game.

This is beautiful, but I have to ask - do you use screenshots and just augment them with a little painting over for glow effects and what not? It's what it looks like but I'm just curious.
I'm mostly asking because I think it's cool and an efficient way to make some lovely fanart without having to worry about drawing

Yep, it's just WoWModelEdit and touches with drawing-tablet with glow and whatnot, basically adding whatever I think is suitable.
But it's not original hand-drawn art, I do one of these wallpapers in like 2-3h or so, just something to do while I'm bored really.

Don't have a widescreen myself so it's a bit hard taking those kinds of screenshots.
