I've painted Cherche once before, and I wasn't too happy with the way it came out so I gave it another go. Plus, I just love Cherche. Her armor and hair are so much fun.I imagined this being a poster for an anime movie adaption of the game. So I tried to make it fitting. I just might make more in the same style

Such an elegant and beautiful woman, and this portrait draws that out nicely. I've always received good service from her; she tanks physical blows effortlessly and cuts down anyone in her path.

Fliers in general do serve those purposes well. If you get the Iote's Shield skill from DLC, you can put it on Cherche and she won't need to worry about archers. Mages are still a pain, but they won't do as much damage.
I've often favoured Wyvern Riders across the series, they generally turn out really useful.
