I honestly can't think of a single reoccurring character that I'd call a joke character from the original while the later series at least had the Vreedles until reboot where every character is the joke character.

No one liking it and China opening up a bottle of Corona may have killed it before the first season ended. Really made me miss the husbadu chocked bore that was 2011 Thundercats; at least then you had something that looked good and had a few entertaining episodes.
