Last year, I released a series of Caeleste-exclusive semi-mystery design packs that were fairly successful (almost everything listed in my Commissions folder as "design commission" was a design pack) but there were several that never sold. Since I released the pack sets with a partial design idea for each one, I decided to create them all for myself, and I'm really happy with the outcome.

The Golden Afternoon was one of my favourites, conceptually. It's based on gold and sunshine, with dapples and pintaloosa patterning, which, in hindsight, is a simple enough pack that I understand why it wasn't ever purchased. I may have over-detailed the gold a little, but I think I balanced it out ok. In hindsight, I would have emphasized the streaks on her fins - you can hardly see them, but they're meant to be rays of sunlight. I imagine her as some kind of noble lady or princess from a tropical lagoon.
