"Norry?" the little shrew's voice squeaked in delight when she recognized her friend.

"Oh great, not YOU again! Please don't tell me you're going to give me another 'makeover.' I've had enough of those, thank you!" the big blue dragon responded. He splashed his tail in the fountain water to emphasize his point. Didi giggled and bat at it playfully. "Oi, watch it now! I'm a lot bigger now so I might hurt you by accident, ya little pipsqueak!" The Gyarados lowered his head so that his face would be level with hers.

"Hehe! You got biiiig!" she said. Her small toenails clacked against the stone rim of the fountain as she hopped in excitement. Norman heaved a heavy sigh. She could slip if she wasn't care-- "EEP!" Just as Didi was about to plummet into the crystal clear waters, the Gyarados tipped his head to catch her.

"Careful!" he said as she latched onto his crest. The warning was a little late, but still warranted. Didi did not appear to be listening though because she was now swinging on his head. "Ugh! Gedoff, you!" he said with mild annoyance. If she'd been around the day he evolved, he would have probably eaten her.

"Take me up higher, Norry!" she squealed. Norman sighed.

"Alright, but hold tight. Cabbage'll have my hide if you fall!" He lifted her up as high as he could stretch. The little shrew clutched his horn tightly with a huge grin on her face.

"Can we do this every day now? You're not going to change back are you? This is really fun! This is so cool, Norry!" Didi babbled. He could feel her trembling with excitement. Yeesh. What an excitable kid.

"I'm a Gyarados forever now. So I guess," he said, though somewhat reluctantly; he was not fond of the idea of her swinging from his head for hours.

"MWAH!"

His face went from sour to shock to bright pink with embarrassment. That little twerp. She kissed him right on the nose!
