BackStory: when Dahak reappear, Tails neglect to tell everyone that Dahak manage to hack into the main system, learning every resistance/freedom fighter member, their families, strengths, weaknesses, locations everything. Tails told them after he shows them that he found a card with the Ministry symbol on it, despite this, Tails try to tell him that Dahak needed to hold his breath underwater for two hours, bypass the security systems and know the encrypted passcodes, no one can do this, not even Sonic. Sonic told Tails that Dahak has done the impossible before, and he should have said something about the card. This caused later on for them to start to lose trust in Tails, Tails want to start a meeting after stopping Eggman's latest scheme, but everyone cancelled, no one trust Tails anymore.
Later on, when Sonic and Tails took out one of Eggman's bases, Tails was reprehended for being too brash and aggressive, some of the members consider removing Tails temporarily as a active member, Tails overheard and had a argument with them and left, he later learned he had a cousin named Kimi and went to go find her in the desert zone. Long story short, he meets her, but Dahak was there, capture them both, Kimi rat Tails out saying she was stealing medical equipment to make money off the side and refuse to be turned in to the officials, Sonic arrives only to see a blown up warehouse, Kimi survived but Tails died and was buried.
Months later, Dahak captured Sonic, Amy, Cream, Blaze, Knuckles, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Shadow, Rouge, Silver, and Blaze, Dahak revealed to them that his apprentice told him they will be coming to his domain and the apprentice stand forward, removing the Gi-Na Mask it was revealed that Tails is his new apprentice. The group ask why Tails and Tails reply, that his own friends, even Sonic have abandon him, everyone thought him as the weakest one, and thanks to Dahak training and guidance, he will turn his weaknesses into strength, before he left, he shut the metal door saying "Game Over." But soon The Phoenix Knights, Tangle, Bell the Tinkerer, and Whisper saved them hours later, but Tails remained as Dahak apprentice for a while.
