Description
The timeless, evocative shape of the MiG-21 - certainly the most iconic Soviet jet of all time
. Weathered, but still proud, this aircraft was lost on 23 September 2010 in a mid-air collision with sister ship 120 above the Slunj firing range in central Croatia. Fortunately, the pilots of both jets had managed to eject with only a few scratches.
