I WISH I could use copic markers! These are skinny little pens. I just can't seem to grasp the concept of colouring with markers. They always end up looking like a 10 year old did it.

Thanks! I'm happy with the texture, but I wish I'd spent a bit more time on the linework. Sadly, I did it TWO NIGHTS before the deadline, so I didn't have the luxury of taking my time.

it's hard to find decent art on dA. it's there, i know, i just don't see a lot of it. there are pretty photos of sunsets and flowers, myspace-esque pictures of little emo kids, and an ASSLOAD of furry manga, but i hardly ever see stuff like this.

Thank you! I agree. I mean, there are some AMAZING artists (check out some of the people I watch, they inspire me every day), but there IS an assload of emo crap here too.
