Lemme rant about the song's fanbase real quick
It might be that it was TLT's intention.
But people take the conclusion way to fast that with the line 'It wont be long before I become a puppet' he ment that the mother is the puppet.
Did they NEVER hear of 'becoming a puppet to your emotions'? It kind of means that that single emotion blinds you and makes you do things you'd usually wouldn't do.
