Is it just me or does Bernard look just like Megamind if he were human and that is why he was designed that way? (skinny, TALLLL POOFY hair that makes his head look HUGE, some other stuff that is escaping my brain..) That is totally my theorey. Also the moment I saw Bernard I was thinking 'HE LOOKS IMPORTANT!! JUST LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL HE IS! OOOOOO8! HE'S MORE THAN JUST A BACKGROUND GUY I KNOW IT!' And I was right... in a way. XDDDD

yesses ^^ I was thinking that wholly, but now I may be kinda wrong, cuz like, I took a closer look (well, LOTS of closer looks XDD). Bernard's face = square. Megamind's face = triangle. XD; Not the same... buut I still really like his big massive amount of hair sticking right up making his head look all huuuuge o3o .. XDDDDD

Fantastic. I love megamind. I took my boy to see it in 3D last week. We're both huge fans. The Art of book is one of the best Art of's out there.
Goro Fujita is a huge inspiration for my own stuff.

I agree, it's definitely one of the best Art of's that I've seen. Fujita is fantastic, and there are so many other amazing artists in there. I'm quite fond of Tim Lamb, too.

Yes, these were inspired from Bernard's concept in the artbook. I bought it the other day-- it's excellent!
