I was "re-inspired" after reading an amazing fanfiction by Silverglass01 called "The Star and the Hourglass."

A bit of a personal insight is that I used no photo references, which... really is a first for me in portrait art. I didn't even think I was capable, always full of self doubt in this regard but I am so glad that it turned out at least recognizable as one of my favorite characters of all time. It's a major step in the right direction in my artistry to put down the references and draw what is in my head. I feel vulnerable sharing it. But maybe someone will enjoy it, and that - along with the personal journey - is enough for me.
