Ah I think I see the issue. Looks like you were using the brush tool. The pen tool is the preferred method of lining IMO. It takes sometime to get used to it, but you'll learn fast if you have used photoshop. I use the ellipse tool for the eyes. Makes making circles/ovals much easier. If you have any other questions, just ask

But the way I was tought was to trace lines from the show lathe way made I honestly don't know how to draw them well vecoter wise
