Remember when I said that next page will be about Lyra and BonBon going home? No? Never mind that, I was wrong. I just had to put this scene here, even though I thought I'll make it a bonus comic at the end of the chapter, but it's better for the story's flow to put it here. She's an important enough character to have a whole page dedicated to her inner thoughts.
She's also the kind of pony who's face tells you what she's thinking... well, at least when she's not concentrating on concealing her feelings. Right now, she's too lost in her thoughts to do that.
Also, have she really heard about Lyra before? Wasn't Lyra a human girl? Or is the whole thing only in her head? Is it possible that Tavi's memories are wrong this time?

It is that one can be a stuck-up snob and be gross. While you can have class and politeness and refinement while being a simple bricklayer.

If she wants to talk like a stuck-up snob, she could fawn over the Princess's student when she declares she's from Canterlot. Then she could drone on about how much she loves Canterlot despite not being there before. Then declare herself a "Canterlot girl at heart!" Then when she gets a room at the castle she could to build her own influence and popularity at the expense of her friends. That would be a tuck-up snob.
